Hi. In the recent changes log I saw you deleting nearly all my work! The combine aged of my little brother and I is only 18 years old. Now that you can figure out our age you now know why those edits were so "Pointless". I don't want to start a flame war so can you give me some tips on editing pages and helping to create this wiki? Plus I should let you know that my only way to go on the internet is by a very very very slow computer that can just barly play minetest and a kindle 2.5.6. You have no idea what's like typing on a tiny keyboard with your thumbs. --Tux101
The wiki does not need redundant or obvious info (it's like putting on the lava page "caution, it hurts"). I'll take this edit as an example: you just said that wooden planks are renewable (already stated in the article) and can thus be used as a building material (totally false, you can also use stone or any other non-renewable block to build a house).
Also, if you have trouble editing the wiki on a tablet, why not use a desktop/laptop instead? Tablets aren't made for creating content at all. Don't forget grammar and spelling is important too (if the information was useful, I would have corrected the typos if any). - talk × contribs » 14:18, 28 January 2013 (CST)
Thanks for the tips! I also wanted to know how to hyperlink stuff or is that on a higher 'level' of wiki editing? You were also right about the laptop. My thumbs feel so much better (after I convinced my dad to let own the entire laptop --Tux101 17:51 30 January 2013 (AEDST)
This is how you can hyperlink: [[Papyrus]] will make a link to the Papyrus page. You can also name them indepentently of what they point to: [[User:Calinou|Calinou's user page]]. External links work in a similar way, example: [http://minetest.net Minetest website] - talk × contribs » 06:45, 27 February 2013 (CST)
Russian Minetest Wiki
I and two people maintaining Russian Minetest Wiki: http://minetestwiki.net16.net. Can you add link on main page to it? Also: how I can make interwikis? If necessary, i can edit
LocalSettings.php. If you can, please respond to .
If I made errors, sorry :) --ArtSin
- Can you install Interwiki extension, please? I don't want move pages to this wiki because:
- ~50 pages to move - a lot!
- On your wiki default language is English
- Maybe make as with Minecraft Wiki - ru.wiki.minetest.com? ArtSin 06:31, 2 March 2013 (CST)
